I have a new SONY DAV-DZ230 Home Theatre System and the DVD tray will not open, display reads cannot

Try unplugging the unit, leave off for about 30 seconds, plug it back in and see if it reboots and opens. If this doesn't work, it may be best to take the unit back to the store.
