How much does it cost, in total, to build a drive-in theatre?

i.e. initial invesment for 25-acre lot, twin screens. Paving, fencing, projection/radio equipment, screen construction materials...the whole shebang.

Drive in theatres are going out not coming in. Make it a driving range instead.
Land is the biggest cost.



Beyond that, a projection booth, a low-frequency FM trnasmitter so the patrons can listen to the movie on the car radio, and screens.



Land aside, the theatre, including signage, would be in the quarter million neighborhood.
That depends, you need to find a commercial lot zoned for businesses. You'll have to google outdoor theater screens or something to find a manufacturer and get some prices...same with the projection/radio equipment. You'll just have to call around and get estimates for all of the items needed, then figure up a total. Good luck! I wish there were more drive-ins! :)
